TARGETED MARKET AND CUSTOMERS:
Customers of Thusangwanageno are from disadvantaged communities, and schools, and the targets are graduates who are seeking assistance in getting their fees settled. Including secondary and primary school learners.
ORGANIZATIONAL GROWTH:
The organization is having volunteers from all provinces in the country. Many of its volunteers are unemployed graduates, who benefited from the organization. In all the Founder is pushing to have offices and community labs in all provinces.
HE FOUNDER’S BACKGROUND AND VISION:
Dr John Ntshaupe Molepo.
Dr. J N Molepo is the founder of the Thusangwanageno Youth Empowerment Organization non-profit organization registered NPO 050-505.was born in 1990-06-11, he attended Mathakga Primary school and also went to Reitumetse secondary. He then furthered his studies with TUT (Tshwane University of Technology) this is where he obtained his doctorate in public management, which is now known as “Public Affairs”. The organization was started back before 2015 “the year of fees must fall” and it was officially registered in 2016, Dr. J Molepo started this organization to assist students who got financial exclusion. some graduate certificates are withheld because of having outstanding fees. Dr, J N Molepo tried to assist a few of the students by paying their fees from his own pocket he started with registration fees and then continued to pay outstanding fees.
His vision is to see the youth of South Africa having access to education, taking education staked be better people, he never stopped giving back to the community rather stretching his hand and seek help from individuals and companies. That is when he ended up having a team of secondary, university, and college volunteers with him, one of the spots they use to raise funds is the “E’ skia Mphahlele Drive “traffic intersection. The mission is to grow the organization to have offices in all provinces around the country.
The organization also assists learners/ matriculates with admission online applications, NSFAS applications, etc. the organization is having a computer lab that the youth utilize for free to do job applications. Thusangwanageno does not only end on paying fees, also assists schools with undeveloped infrastructure with painting and book covers(covering of books for learners, covers are provided by Thusangwanageno).
